Accommodation
Student accommodation in the Netherlands is generally not provided by the universities and there is no campus system. Students are expected to arrange housing themselves. There are several agencies that can help you find accommodation. Below you can find a list of agencies that are recommended by the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance.
Students who have been admitted to one of the programs will receive an information package about housing. Until you have been admitted, we strongly advise you to wait with arranging your accommodation.
Please note that in most cases, rooms, apartments and houses for rent in Maastricht are NOT furnished.
Generally, during the months of July to September, demand for accommodation exceeds supply, creating a temporary shortage of accommodation. During the past few years, supply was always restored by November.
