This study intends to
evaluate job training
programs in Latin America
conditional on the drop out
rates. Happens that these
job training programs have a
high drop out rate (45% in
average), so then it will be
analyzed the real impact of
the programs on income and
employability based on the
decisions of the trainees of
entering into the program
and finishing it, and how
the institutional
arrangements (content,
quality and pertinence of
the training courses and
internship) affects these
results. This study will
take as study cases: the
following job training
programs: Projoven-Peru and
Projoven-Uruguay.
