Research interest
Conditional Cash transfer programmes are primarily demand-side oriented, based on the assumption that overcoming financial access barriers and providing incentives to the household to utilize health and education services will do the trick. However, some programme evaluators suspect that only well coordinated networks integrated by various organizations on local level will be able to provide integrated approaches to overcome complex and multidimensional poverty situations. The central interest of the research is to contribute to a systematic understanding of the elements of the institutional setting decisive for success or failure of CCT programmes.   Publications
