Education
Vladimir Lazarevik has graduated at the Faculty of Medicine at St. Cyril and Methodius University (1991-1998), Macedonia.
He holds an International Master of Public Health degree from the Hebrew University, "Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine" - Jerusalem, Israel (2002/2003).
 
Research Interest
His major research interest is analysis and implementation of different reform strategies in the health sector, health system macro-organisation; provision of sustainable health insurance; accepting the principles of entrepreneurship and introducing health management in the public health sector.
D-r Lazarevik has worked for several foreign organizations and has written and published a number of articles on these issues.
Lazarevik is a public health policy expert affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Social Medicine, at the St. Cyril and Methodius University.
Since September 2006, D-r Lazarevik is appointed as Deputy Minister of Health in the government of the Republic of Macedonia.
He is also running the Health Sector Management Project funded by a World Bank loan as its Principal Coordinator
