The PhD programmes’ multifaceted
approach allows participants to
obtain the necessary skills needed
to function as a professional in a
challenging environment. We envisage
our PhD fellows becoming researchers
in or out of the academic world,
ministry staff, area specialists,
policy and political analysts,
designers of social (protection)
policy schemes, politicians or
employees working for the EU or
other international organisations or
NGOs.
