Unicef
Unicef asked the School to train their staff members of the coming years. This year approximately 300 staff working in 128 countries across the world will be involved in the training. The program really is an introductory course in many aspects of the developing work and should be followed up by specific and more in depth courses for several of the participants. Unicef wants to become better involved in the practice of policy design and policy discussions in developing countries. They now feel too much focused on smaller projects with too little long term impact. They expect their staff to be more involved in policy development work within the framework of the mission of Unicef, particularly children and gender equality.
