7 Health
The health research
group is involved in institutional
analyses, empirical analyses and
development of theoretical models.
The subjects currently studied are
the determinants of well-being of
people of which health is considered
to be one of the main determinants
besides economic and social factors,
the impact of foreign and national
aid modalities on health sector
financing in developing countries,
and the extent of equality in access
to health care from an economic and
institutional perspective. The
access to health care services
throughout the life cycle is an
important area of research under
this theme.
