Update

Advanced Academic Updates provide state-of-the-art knowledge on a specific topic to academics and professionals working in the field. The contents of the AAUs focus on recent insights from academic theory and research as well as on policy problems and solutions, and are offered in a condensed period of two to three days. Renowned lecturers interact with the participants during workshops and lectures and engage in debates.

The upcoming AAU’s
14 & 15 October 2008 The Aid Effectiveness Puzzle – Completing the Picture?
21 & 22 January 2009 Governance

For some Advanced Academic Updates the programmes yet are under construction and will be available on short notice. Please check our website regularly or e-mail Ms. Marjolein Koeman in order to stay updated on the AAU of your preference.

Who should attend?
The Advanced Academic Updates are developed for academics and professionals working in the respective policy field within governments, international organizations, academic institutions, NGOs or (semi-) private companies such as insurance companies, pension funds, or consultancy companies. The AAU is a convenient mode of information provision, in which academics and professionals can deepen and update their knowledge in a short period of time, as the courses are developed for a well informed audience. The Maastricht Graduate School of Governance aims to limit the audience size thereby facilitating active participation and lively debates between participants and lecturers.
